Meet 'Miracles for Myeloma' Team During Pizza Race

Myeloma is a form of blood cancer.

Organizers of the first annual Miracles for Myeloma 5K will be on hand at the Westfield Running Co. during the Pizza Race to register participants for their inaugural run set for Saturday, Oct. 5 in Oak Ridge Park.

Westfielders have partnered with the International Myeloma Foundation in order to race money and awareness for this fairly unknown but not uncommon form of cancer. Myeloma is the second most common blood cancer, after non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, according to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

Miracles for Myeloma members will be available from 6:30 to 8 p.m. this evening
