Lincoln School Hosts Meet & Greet at Swirl Whirl

Parents and children flocked to Swirl Whirl Yogurt Buffet by the dozens Tuesday to participate in the Lincoln School PTO meet-and-greet. The event got parents, many of whom will be entering the Westfield Public Schools for the first time in September, acquainted with one another and with the Lincoln School faculty. Principal Audrey Zavitz added that the first day of kindergarten can be frightening for a child, and if a young student recognizes a face he or she saw at the meet & greet, it might make the day less daunting. Parents and teachers mingled while their kids enjoyed--and sometimes smeared--their yogurt.
