Hoboken Kidville Patron to Open New Location in Westfield

Kidville, which offers a wide range of classes including music, dance, gym, and art, is looking to hire for a possible June opening.

Hoboken resident Catharine Wilder isn't just the owner of a Kidville, she's also a satisfied customer.

The mom of two said she's been bringing her children to her nearby Hoboken Kidville, an art and enrichment haven for the preschool set, for several years. Now that she knows both sides of the operation, Wilder is looking forward to opening the doors to her 109 East Broad St. location as early as June.

When thinking about where to start this kid-friendly venture, Westfield seemed like the perfect location, Wilder said, as there are not a lot of similar facilities in the area. The business owner also noted that she wanted to open the franchise in a location that would be both an easy commute and a great place to live when her young family outgrows their space in Hoboken.

According to a press release, in addition to offering developmental classes for newborns through six year olds, including Rockin’ Railroad, Run Wiggle Paint & Giggle, My Big Messy Art Class, Big Muscles for Little Babies, Ballet Tea Party, Kidville Gymnasts, Kidville Sports, Camp Kidville and Kidville University (Kidville's Pre-School Alternative Program), Kidville also features an indoor playspace, birthday parties for children up to age nine, and a retail Boutique.

Wilder said though the space is currently undergoing construction, she is eager to begin hiring. Interested applicants can send a resume and cover letter to mayor.westfield@mykidville.com.
