Just a week after it was confirmed that Buddy Valastro and his band of bakers will be opening up a branch of Carlo's Bakery in Westfield, signs that the 'Cake Boss' is coming to town are starting to emerge. Banners, decorated with cupcakes and other confections, were being posted at 21 East Broad St. Friday to let the community know Carlo's Bakery is hiring. Buddy Valastro will open bakery on East Broad Street later this year
Buddy Valastro, star of TLC's hit show "Cake Boss" and owner of Carlo's Bake Shop, with locations in Hoboken and recently-opened Ridgewood, is preparing to stir things up in Westfield later this year when he begins baking on East Broad Street, according to a Star Ledger report. Westfield, like Ridgewood, is "a very homestyle town with a great community, it's got that old-feel Main Street," Valastro told the Ledger Friday morning.
