Westfield Education Fund Invites Public to Wine Tasting and Auction
This annual event is an enjoyable way to raise funds for Westfield public school students.
The following is a press release from the Education Fund of Westfield: The Education Fund of Westfield invites you to our Annual Wine Tasting and Auction on Saturday, April 27, 7 p.m. at Echo Lake Country Club. The evening will include wine tasting, a lite dinner, entertainment, and auctions. All proceeds will go to fund grants for technology and innovative programs for the students in the Westfield Public Schools. This annual event is an enjoyable way to raise funds for our school children. The wine tasting will feature diverse wine selections donated by Stew Leonards. Why do we need an education fund to fund grants for technology and innovative programs for the students in the Westfield Public Schools. Regardless of whether or not this annual event is an enjoyable way to raise funds for our school children, isn't that what property taxes are for? The more money "donated" doesn't reduce our property taxes. more ›
