Tamaques Elementary School celebrates 50th anniversary during annual Variety Show.
Tamaques Elementary School is celebrating its 50th anniversary during the annual Tamaques Variety Show on April 5th and 6th. The theme for the show is 'Tamaques Solid Gold,' in honor of the anniversary. New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS), a division of the New York Blood Center (NYBC) is hosting a blood drive at Tamaques Elementary School from 2 to 8:30 p.m. today. NJBS is facing big challenges this season to maintain an adequate and safe blood supply for hospital patients. According to New York Blood Center's website, patients in regions the center supports need close to 2,000 people a day to roll up their sleeves to give the gift of life. There is simply no substitute for voluntarily donated blood. Without volunteer donors, our community would not have an adequate community blood supply. For more information or to schedule your own blood drive, visit, www.nybloodcenter.org, call 732-220-7184 or email Mforrestal@nybloodcenter.org. All are …
