The Junior Kindergarten class from St. Paul’s Day School is helping the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) bring the gift of play to disadvantaged children around the country by making a stand – a lemonade stand. All proceeds from sales and donations will help the TIF distribute toys and make play possible for kids in need. Everyone is invited to come out and show their support. “There are millions of children around the country without access to toys and play,” said Jean Butler, executive director of TIF. “With the help of those participating in our ‘Make a Stand for Kids’ program, the Foundation will be able to help even more children who are going through challenging times. The Junior Kindergarten class is very excited to help other children receive toys! The Toy Industry Foundation has a wonderful video on their website and we were able to see the big smiles of some very happy kids as they opened up their new toys.
