The Cadets of the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad (BHVRS) are collecting donations to help families as well as animal family members affected by Hurricane Sandy. Canned meals including canned fruit, vegetables, soup, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk and baby food are being collected in addition to canned pet foods, new packages of underwear and socks, diapers, work boots, cleaning supplies including gloves and heavy duty garbage bags, tools, plastic bins for storage, camp cots, and air mattresses.
