Winners Announced in Free Parking Drawing as Part of Restaurant Week

The contest is part of Westfield's Restaurant Week activities.

The Downtown Westfield Corporation (DWC) announced last month that as part of Restaurant week, diners would have the chance to enter a random drawing to win one up to 50 hours of free parking. The winners of the contest are Denise Sherwood of Westfield, Kim Bober of Cranford, Courtney Teicher of Scotch Plains, and Izabella Zeldich of Edison. These winners will each receive a $25 parking card to enhance their shopping and dining experiences in Westfield. Westfield parking cards can be used in any lot or metered on-street spot. The Week Ahead: Restaurant Week, Free Self-Defense Classes and Roosevelt School Honors Black History Month

Monday: Restaurant Week is underway. Take this opportunity to sample a new eatery or enjoy an old favorite for a fixed price. Karate N Motion is offering a free trial in Krav Maga self-defense for men, women and college-bound teens. The class runs from 8 to 9:15 p.m. Tuesday: The Presbyterian Church in Westfield hosts a weekly 'Searching for Work' group in the church's Jim Cole Room on Tuesday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. The group is for those searching for work and membership is open to everyone in the Westfield. The Youth & Family Counseling Service is offering a program for teens where high school-aged members meet each Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m at the agency. First United Methodist Church is hosting a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper…

Hungry for a Good Deal? Restaurant Week Starts Now

Restaurant Week begins today and continue through Thursday, March 1, though it excludes Friday and Saturday.

For those looking to dine out without breaking the bank, Westfield's Restaurant Week may offer an appetizing opportunity to do just that. Starting today and continuing through Thursday, March 1, participating restaurants will feature two course lunches for $10, two-course dinners for $20, and three-course dinners for $30. It's not just restaurants, wine merchants and yogurt and ice cream shops have gotten into the act as well hosting deals on libations and desserts. Tax, gratuity and beverages are not included unless otherwise noted. The offer excludes Friday and Saturday.
