Miller Cory Museum Offers Sunday Crafts for Kids
The Colonial-era farmhouse features 'The History of Snowmen' on Sunday, Jan. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Just in time for what could be the first snowfall of 2012, the Miller Cory Museum is offering a look at 'The History of Snowmen' on Sunday, Jan. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. The afternoon of frosty fun is just one in a series of events that geared toward young children and their families. Melinda Mucha, services coordinator for the museum, said the Miller Cory House is one of the few, if not the only, museum of its size to offer so many programs. "We're open September through June," she said. "We have programs almost every Sunday except in January and February when we offer two per month. We try to do a lot of different things. It's fun for little kids; we give a bit of history but try to make it appropriate for the attention span of a young child…
