Forklift keys are more in demand than forklifts in Westfield as a First Street resident reported that an unknown individual stole the keys from the forklift parked at his home, but left the forklift. Police also found themselves busy with a downtown pedestrian accident and a spree of criminal mischief on Sinclair Place that resulted in an American flag being stolen. Here is a look at the week in police activity. March 12 Brandon Dietz, 19, of Westfield was arrested during a traffic stop in the area of Carleton Rd/Ross Pl for DWI.
