Westfield High School Closing at 9:30 a.m. Due to Power Outage
This will be considered a snow day.
A power outage at Westfield High School is forcing the school to close at 9:30 a.m. Friday as a winter storm descends on Westfield. Westfield Board of Education member Mitch Slater said the outage was caused by a transformer fire on Trinity Place. This will not be considered a legal school day due to the early closure. Power outages are being reported across Westfield. Residents are asked to call PSE&G at 1-800-436-7734 to report outages. Check back with Patch throughout the day for updates. Be the first to know.
