- Three seats on the nine-member board are up for election each spring.
- The board meets twice per month on alternating weeks. The meetings are held at the Board headquarters on Elm Street.. Meetings start at 8:00 p.m.

Dear W.B. of E,
I just read the article regarding the possible movement of kids at Jefferson school to McKinley. I am moving to Frances Terrace on July 15th. I have 3 children going into the 5th, 3rd and 2nd grade, and all 3 of them hopfully will be attending Jefferson together. One of the main reasons we moved in that earea was because of Jefferson School. My house is literally right around the corner, and now i'm finding out that my oldest might have to attend Mckinely. This is absolutely insain. Please find a way to work things out. How do i tell my daughter that she will not be attending the same school as all of her neibhors, which she has already formed a strong bond with.
