Thanksgiving Interfaith Service, Farmers Market This Weekend in Westfield

A Westfield author will be signing a cookbook at The Town Bookstore and more this weekend.

Mediation Party: 
Harmony Meditation is hosting a free meditation and wine tasting on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Harmony is located at 241 North Avenue West. 

Westfield Author Signs at Town Bookstore: Lauren Kelly of Westfield will be signing her book, The Greek Yogurt Cookbook, at The Town Bookstore on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Read more, here

Farmers Market: The GWACC is hosting a special one-time special Thanksgiving farmers market on Nov. 23 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The market runs until 2 p.m. at the Westfield Train Station. 

Westfield Weavers Holiday Sale: The Westfield Weavers Holiday Sale will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad Building located at 1916 Bartle Avenue, Scotch Plains.  The sale features table linens, scarves, shawls, baby sweaters, and many more hand-woven gifts. 

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: Temple Emanu-El is hosting an Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday at 5 p.m. All are welcomed. Canned goods are being accepted to donate to the Westfield Food Pantry.

Bone Marrow Drive: Before and after the Thanksgiving service, a bone marrow drive is being held for 2 ½ year old, Owen Hogan. Bone marrow testis, which consists of a cheek swab, takes place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

Turkey Drive: Drop off your turkeys for those in need at Temple Emanu-El on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. A collection will also be held on Monday and Tuesday.
