Winter Wonderland Craft Fair, Blue Christmas Service This Week

What's happening this week in Westfield?

Parenting Your Parents During The Holidays:
The Parenting Our Parents group will meet at the Westfield Presbyterian Church to feature the executive director of the Youth and Family Counseling Services, Carol Pedro. Pedro will discuss how to care for your loved ones and navigate emotional roadblocks during the holidays. More, here.

Manners Class: The Westfield Recreation Department is offering a Social Etiquette Class to have children ages 6 through 10 brush up on their manners in time for the holidays. The class will be held on Dec. 10 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a fee of $50.  Register through the Westfield Recreation Department online at www.westfieldnj.gov/recreation or in the office. 

Board of Education meeting: The Board of Education will host its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The meeting will feature the Superintendent’s report postponed from last week.

Winter Concerts:
Several school chorus and string concerts are taking place this week at 7 p.m. Find more details, here.

GWACC Networking: Grab your business cards and network with current and prospective GWACC members on Thursday at 8 a.m. The Blue Sky Café in Westfield is offering complimentary breakfast pastries and coffee. No RSVP needed. Blue Sky Café is located at 1120 South Avenue West.

Holiday Drop and Shop:  Drop the kids off at Just Bead Yourself while you hit the Downtown Shops. The event begins at 3 p.m. at Just Bead Yourself.

Winter Wonderland Craft Fair: The Westfield High School Key Club is having their annual Winter Wonderland Craft Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission for children is $10. Winter-themed craft, foods and games will be available. Event is inside the Westfield High School Cafeteria B.

Blood Drive: Donate blood at Holy Trinity Parish Center on Sunday at 9 a.m. and be entered to win two tickets to the SuperBowl.

Blue Christmas: The First Baptist Church invites visitors to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and meditate at their Blue Christmas service on Sunday at 5 p.m.
