All Westfield & Mountainside Residents Invited: 4 New Sunday Services at Liquid Church Mountainside

Westfield and Mountainside residents are invited this Sunday, October 6 to visit the new church at 1180 Spruce Drive, Mountanside for the opening of their fourth location in the historic landmark. Services begin at 9 AM, 11 AM, 4 PM and 6 PM.

Liquid Church, one of the fastest growing non-denominational churches in New Jersey, launches its fourth campus this Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the site of the 192-year-old chapel in Mountainside, NJ.

A historic landmark in the Mountainside community, the rebirth of the Central Avenue property began when the longtime parishioners of the traditional historic congregation recently decided to pass the baton to Liquid Church, a non-denominational Christian church with multiple locations across New Jersey.

Liquid Church brought new life to the facility through extensive renovations both inside and out over the last 15 months. State of the art technology, meeting rooms, sanctuary and worship environments have been installed. The church has updated the landmark property by beautifying the exterior extensively upgrading the interior, including a new setting for vibrant children and family ministry.

Liquid Church brings with them a deep respect for the rich tradition of faith in the facility as the leadership baton is passed to this next generation in the Mountainside / Westfield community.

Right from the first month of official activity of the new Liquid Church at Mountainside campus, church members will continue to live out the overarching Liquid Church core mission of "bringing church to the people" by inviting all in the surrounding community resident to join them in a grassroots community service effort known as "Jesus Loves Jersey."  Over a dozen other churches across New Jersey are planning serve shoulder to shoulder this October to volunteer for more than 10,000 hours of service in a single week.  Liquid Church is amongst the group of churches involved.

Opportunities to serve through the community service campaign will include a Fall Festival event that creates custom experiences for special needs children and their families from the Children’s Specialized Hospital located in Mountainside, NJ.

The Liquid Church family invites friends and neighbors to join them this Sunday, October 6, 2013, at 1180 Spruce Drive, Mountanisde for the opening of their fourth campus in the historic landmark. Services begin at 9 AM, 11
AM, 4 PM and 6 PM with childcare and children’s programs available for the first three services.

Liquid Church is one of NJ’s fastest-growing Christian churches.  Founded in 2001 by Lead Pastor Tim Lucas, the church’s vision is to “take church to the people” with campuses in Morristown, New Brunswick, Nutley and now Mountainside.  Over 2,500 people experience Liquid’s worship services each weekend in New Jersey and around the globe through its Church Online.  As a part of its global outreach Liquid provides clean drinking water to the poorest of the poor with dozens of completed projects in Ethiopia, Central African Republic, Haiti, El Salvador and Nicaragua.  More details can be found at www.liquidchurch.com
