Westfield Agent Recognized for Outstanding Volunteerism

The Allstate Foundation Grants $1,000 to Safe Kids Union County.

Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company exclusive agent Ron Bansky received the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award for distinguished community service. With this award came a $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation for Safe Kids Union County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing injury prevention directly to kids and their families.

Allstate New Jersey agents have a proud history of putting their Good Hands® to work in supporting New Jersey communities, promoting volunteerism and providing financial resources to enable local organizations to help others.

“The Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award celebrates the spirit of service. Commitment to our communities is a natural extension of what we do every day – protecting people and making their lives more secure,” said Rich Crist, president of Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company. “With support from The Allstate Foundation,Ron and Safe Kids Union County are making their community a better, safer place to live.”

More than 450 Safe Kids Coalitions in 16 countries bring health and safety experts, educators, corporations, foundations, governments, and volunteers together to educate and protect families. Safe Kids provides information on injury prevention for children from newborns to 14-years-old.

Bansky, who has been an Allstate New Jersey agent in Westfield for 12 years, believes that it is important to support his community.

“Community involvement makes you feel good and is a great way to show people that you care about your neighborhood and are committed to it,” said Bansky.

The Allstate Foundation awards $2 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of dedicated Allstate agency owners who give back. To be eligible for nomination, Allstate New Jersey agents must be a current and active volunteer or lead a nonprofit of their choice.
