Westfield Resident Stacy Weinman Named to Imagine Board of Trustees

Weinman joined Imagine to help provide support to those suffering from grief and loss.

Stacy Weinman, a resident of Westfield for five years has joined the Board of Trustees of Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss. Stacy works as the office manager for her husband’s dental practice Distinctive Dentistry by David M. Weinman in Westfield. 

“It is the greatest job for me because I believe in dentistry, I love taking care of people and it is amazing to work side by side with my husband. Westfield is a wonderful place to have a business as the residents are so warm and caring which is seen by the amount of volunteerism in this town.”

The couple has 4 children, Matthew 16, Benjamin 14, Jake 14 and Rachel 12.

In addition to working full-time for her husband’s dental practice and as a mom, Stacy still finds time to volunteer in the community. Stacy is Secretary on the Westfield Library Board of Trustees, is Co-Chair of the Green Team for the Town of Westfield, is on the Advisory Board for the Alternative Press and is a representative for the Republican Committee for the Town of Westfield. Mrs. Weinman joined the Board of Trustees of in February 2012 out her desire to help make even more of a difference in people’s lives.

“I have watched many I love suffer from some sort of grief and loss including myself and my family,” said Mrs. Weinman. “I want to be a part of IMAGINE because I feel that this center will help people feel like they are not alone and truly offer them the support they need to get through the most difficult parts of the process.” 

Imagine provides free year-round peer support groups for children age 3-18 who have had a parent or sibling die with concurrent support groups for their parents or guardians. Free year-round grief support groups are also available for adults 18 and up who have had a friend, sibling, parent or other important person in their life die.
