Rootsy Folk Rockers Soulfarm Visit Westfield Saturday

Though the band was formed in New York in 1991, its sound is reminiscent of that of California-based groups during the 1970s.

On April 21st there will be a party at and my new favorite party band will be playing. They are called Soulfarm and they will certainly become your favorite party band as well!

Soulfarm was founded in Israel by Grammy Award winner lead guitarist C Lanzbom and guitarist and lead singer Noah Solomon Chase. The two men first met in Israel in a little village called Modii’m in the early '90s where they both were living at the time. In the late '90s they moved to New York City and renamed their band Soulfarm. The band quickly gained a strong and loyal following.

Soulfarm has a wide range of influences from rock and Latin, to Hebrew and Celtic folk music. Their live shows are full of Mediterranean flavor with captivating guitar leads, dance rhythms and strong percussion breaks.

Soulfarm has recorded with many well-known musicians and has opened for Bruce Hornsby, Shawn Colvin, The Wailers, and  George Clinton, to name a few.
