Photos: Wrestlers Raise Funds at Ritas
Grapplers continue annual fundraising tradition.
It may have been one of the last days of school on June 21 but the wrestling team wasn't thinking about summer, but rather the next winter sports season. The grapplers, fresh off a successful season which saw graduating senior Christian Barber for the Blue Devils in 35 years, were out in front of raising money for the coming season.
The Quimby Street ice shop hosts fundraisers for local groups throughout the summer, with 10-percent of the revenue going to the organization. The wrestling team has at the shop over the years. Summer will not be a rest time for the team, as a series of summer time practices, which last year included is planned.
