Westfielders brought their cars down to the Armory Saturday morning to help support Westfield's troops.
The Family Readiness Group at the Armory sponsored a car wash to raise funds to support the group's mission. The group raises funds to sponsor quality of life programs for soldiers based at the Armory and their families.
The FRG, which coordinated last November's welcome home parade, sponsored a variety of programs to help the troops while they are training at the Armory, along with providing support services for the families of troops during overseas deployments. To welcome the troops home from Iraq last year, the FRG coordinated a renovation of the Armory's recreation room and fitness center.
