Westfield Service League End of Year Sales

The Westfield Service League (WSL) will hold its annual end-of-year sales on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 12, at its thrift and consignment shops, both located at 114 Elmer Street in Westfield,  "Bag Day" will be featured at the first floor thrift store, during which customers may purchase a grocery size bag for $5 and fill it to the brim with items from throughout the store.  There will be no limit on the amount of bags one can purchase.  The thrift store offers clothing, shoes, books, bric-a-brac and household items.  The thrift shop has already reduced the prices on much of its merchandise.  The consignment shop, which presently is offering 75-percent reductions on merchandise, will hold its annual Dollar Day sale on Saturday.  All items for sale will be purchased at $1.  Both shops will continue their sales while stock is available.  Featured in both shops are summer clothing, including shorts, T-shirts, skirts, dresses, shoes and swimwear.  Following these sales, the shops will close for the summer and will reopen after Labor Day on Wednesday, September 5.  Normal shops hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.  For more information, call the thrift shop at (908) 233-2530 or the consignment shop at (908) 232-1223.
