Eileen Fisher Hosts One-Day Sale for Charity Saturday

 will host a one-day sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24 to support the women’s and girls leadership organization Girls for A Change.

Through GFC, girls develop the voice, ability and problem solving capacity to speak up, be decision makers, create visionary change and realize their full potential, according to the national organization's website. 

The Elm Store women's clothing store will donate 10 percent of the proceeds of all sales on Saturday to GFC.

"Girls for a Change is a non-profit and is opening a workshop center in the Flemington area," said Robbie Feeney of Eileen Fisher. "The workshops gives a hands-on model on how social change is implemented and how each one of us can make a difference.

"The executive director, Lori Fitzmaurice, is coming in from California to help us fundraise for the New Jersey Workshops Girls for A Change is offering."

The charity is in line with the retailer’s mission of supporting women and girls and helping them build inner strength and develop confidence. 

"On a bi-yearly basis, each one of her 50 stores picks a charity partner that speaks specifically to them," Feeney explained. "They are all great causes."

If clients shop online they are able to pick from the full range of the charities Eileen Fisher will be supporting as a company and have the 10 percent donation go toward the charity of their choice.

"We are also offering $25 coupon off a $50 or more purchase for Saturday only," Feeney said. "We have a lot of fun and make a lot of meaningful connections."
