Westfield High School Swim Teams Head to State Semi-Final Tuesday

Boys face Hunterdon Central, while girls take on Hillsborough.

Westfield High School boys and girls swim teams head to the NJSIAA State Semi-finals Tuesday afternoon in Princeton.

The No. 3 Westfield boys team will take on No. 9 Hunterdon Central at 3:30 p.m., while the No. 1 girls team will take on No. 6 Hillsborough at 5 p.m. 

The Westfield girls team has scored at least 95 points in every meet this season, according to a report by The Star Ledger

The teams seek to repeat last year's state championship wins where the girls team celebrated an 89-81 victory over Cherry Hill West to win their third consecutive state championship, while the boys team took on Bridgewater-Raritan and bested the competition 86-84.
