The winter track season is dotted with the large scale relay competitions at indoor arenas across the state. Drew University, with a large gym named after former Treasury Secretary William Simon, is a popular venue for indoor track meets annually. The track teams have competed at Drew twice this month. Other meets are held at the Armory in Jersey City, an Armory in Upper Manhattan and other colleges. Westfield no longer competes at meets in the indoor track on the Fairleigh Dickinson University campus in Teaneck nor at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania.

The relay meets typically feature multiple heats in each of the typical track relays ranging from sprints to distance races, along with medleys of several races in one relay. Field events including the high jump are also part of the events for the day.
