Summer Playground Program Begins June 27

The program is held at the local elementary schools and Tamaques Park. Playground locations are: Franklin, Jefferson, McKinley, Tamaques, Washington, and Wilson Elementary Schools.

The Westfield Recreation Department is holding it annual Summer Playground Program from Wednesday, June 27 through August 8.

Overview: The Summer Playground Program is open to Westfield residents only. The program is held at the local elementary schools and . Playground locations are: , , , , , and Elementary Schools.

The Teen Program, “Teen Scene,” will be offered at Tamaques Park. The playground schedule is tentative, so please consult individual playgrounds for up-to-date weekly schedules.

PROGRAMS REQUIREMENTS- HOURS –FEES:

Elementary Program: Resident children completing Kindergarten to completing 5th grade. Monday through Thursday, 9 - 11:45 a.m. and 1 - 3:45 p.m. (Fridays: 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.)

Teen Scene: Children completing 6th grade through completing 8th grade: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. -  3 p.m

The program costs $60 per camper. Registration is ongoing at the Recreation Office only. Physician information and emergency numbers are important, as well as knowledge of child’s health history, emergency numbers and parental signatures.

*PLEASE NOTE: First-time registrants must bring a current report card for proof of grade.
