Star-Ledger: Former WHS Swimming Star Matt Cahill Dies Suddenly
2000 WHS alum died suddenly on Friday.
Matt Cahill, a 2000 graduate of Westfield High School and former star swimmer for the Blue Devils, died suddenly on Friday, Jan. 29, his 28th birthday. Cahill swam for Westfield during the late 1990s and was the team co-captain his senior year. He helped win the 2000 state swimming championship for Westfield.
