Have You Signed Up for the Pizza Race Yet?

Following the 5K, runners can enjoy pizza, beverages and live entertainment downtown.

More than 700 runners are already signed up for the 11th annual Downtown Westfield 5K Run and Pizza Extravaganza. The event, which combines a scene run with pizza, beverages and live music, will begin in the late afternoon of Wednesday, July 25. 

Online registration is now available at PracticeHard.com. The cost is $30 per entrant and $28 for USATF members. New this year, the first 2,000 runners will receive a Tech Shirt.

The race begins at 7 p.m. on E. Broad Street and N. Euclid Avenue. Click here to view the USATF-certified course map. T-shirt and D-tag pick-up starts at 5 p.m. Water stops will be available along the route.

Everyone is welcome to participate and age groups are separated in five-year intervals, ranging from 10 and under to 85 and over.

Parking, both on-street and in municipal lots, will be free starting at 4:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the race will be used for downtown Westfield streetscape improvements such as new street lights, sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping and similar projects.
