Boys Tennis Tops Hillsborough, Win State Sectional Title
Move on to play for overall Group IV title
The Blue Devils stepped onto the court with one goal in mind that teams at every level of competition strive for, win a championship.
Westfield, ranked No. 2 in The Star Ledger Top 20 and No. 1 in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group IV Tournament , achieved that goal on Tuesday in route to a 4-1 victory over No. 6 Hillsborough Raiders.
"Hillsborough was one of the better teams we have seen all year. They pushed us very hard. We won in straight sets in every position but it was tight. They were good matches."
