WHS PTSO Helps College Recruiters

Parents donate homemade salads and baked goods for college night.

During Thursday night's College Night at Westfield High School, admissions recruiters from the various colleges would duck into a side cafeteria to mingle and enjoy some delicacies from the school's Parent Teacher Student Organization.

Recruiters were provided with a meal for the evening, including wraps from a local restaurant and a variety of homemade salads donated by PTSO members, who were on hand to serve food and warmly welcome out-of-town recruiters to Westfield. A variety of pasta salads, cous cous and orzo salads were on hand for the recruiters.

Topping off dinner, recruiters could continue to enjoy Blue Devils hospitality with a series of homemade baked goods, including cookies, brownies and cupcakes for the evening. Recruiters were seen ducking away from their tables during a break in the action to enjoy some of the PTSO's hospitality during the evening.
