Westfielders Named to Dean's Lists

Students achieve academic honors

Thomas Lutz has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List at Lafayette College. To qualify for Dean's List, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0. Thomas is a graduate of Newark Academy.

Lafayette is a top liberal arts college with 2,400 students and 215 full-time faculty that offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs including engineering.

The following local students have achieved Dean's Honors, a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.65, or Dean's High Honors, a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.78, for the 2012 fall semester at Connecticut College.

  • Jessica Cronin, class of 2016 at Connecticut College, has been named to the Dean's High Honors list.
  • Kristen Caruana, class of 2013 at Connecticut College, has been named to the Dean's Honors list.
  • Norah Hannel, class of 2014 at Connecticut College, has been named to the Dean's High Honors list.

The following local students have been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester:

David Babetski s a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in History - Adolescence Education.

Ryan Scrudato is a member of the Class of 2015 and is majoring in English Writing - Adolescence Education.
