Westfielders Graduate from Saint Peter's Prep School

Saint Peter's Preparatory School celebrated its 134th commencement at Saint Peter's College on Sunday, June 9, 2012.

The following Westfield residents graduated from Saint Peter’s Preparatory School on Sunday, June 9, 2012:

James Doyle, son of Nancy and John Doyle, will attend Saint Joseph’s University.  James played hockey at Prep. 

Michael Giacone, son of Jean and Michael Giacone, will attend Boston College.  Michael played football at Prep and was the captain in his senior year. He won the 2012 Hudson County International Athletic League Scholar-Athlete Award.

William Hedley, IV, son of Mary Ellen and William Hedley, will attend Saint Joseph’s University. William played football, ran indoor track and played Rugby.  He was a member of the Campus Ministry Team and Big Brothers. 

Kevin Larkin, son of Karen and Kevin Larkin, will attend East Stroudsburg University. Kevin played soccer and rugby at Prep and ran indoor track.  He was a member of both the Anime and the Gaming clubs.

Martin Monaco, son of Margaret Monaco and Martin Monaco, will attend Franklin and Marshall College. He played football and lacrosse and was captain of the lacrosse team. He also participated in Campus Ministry retreats. 

Anthony Pafumi, son of Paula and Sal Pafumi, will attend Rutgers University, New Brunswick. He played football and wrestled at Prep and participated in the Emmaus Retreat. 

Robert Slaski, son of Carolyn and Robert Slaski, will attend Emerson College. Robert had the lead role in many Prep plays. He played tennis, was a member of Marauder Nation, and attended the Emmaus and Kairos retreats.

Alexander Williams, son of Sharon Williams and Stuart Williams, will attend the University of Scranton. Alexander played football and lacrosse and attended the Emmaus retreat.
