Baseball

Westfield 6, BR 1: Mike Mondon went the distance and struck out seven in the Blue Devils' 6-1 win over Bridgewater-Raritan.

Westfield 12, North Hunterdon 3: James O'Rourke and Matt Varakian paced Westfield with three RBI apiece.

Westfield 8, SPF 7 (10): Westfield railled from a five-run 10th inning deficit to pull ahead of SPF and get head coach Bob Brewster his 500th career victory. 

Softball

Westfield 7, Union 1: Westfield's Elena Scarano pitched a 3 hitter with 1 walk. Audrey Peterson was 2 for 3 with 2 triples and 3 RBI. Union's Nicole Venoula was 2-3 with a double.

Westfield 13, Linden 0: Westfield: Chrissy Ferraro was 3 for 5 with 2 singles and a double, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Julia Criscuolo was 3 for 5 with 3 RBI, 2 doubles and a single. Shannon Schaefer was 3 for 5 with a single, a homerun and a double. Shannon scored 4 runs. Winning Pitcher: Shannon Schaefer with 7 K, 1BB, allwed 5 hits and 0 runs. For Linden: Shannon Murphy was 2 for 3 with 2 singles.

Westfield 4, Immaculata 2: Westfield softball beat Immaculata on 4/9 by a score of 4-2. Immaculata scored 2 runs on an error in the third inning, Westfield went ahead in the 5th: Chambliss led off with a single, Shannon Schaefer singled, Julia Criscuolo hit an RBI double and Audrey Peterson hit a 3 RBI home run. Elena Scarano was the winning pitcher: 10 K, 1 BB, 4 hits and 0 earned runs Josie Novak pitched for Immaculata: 9 K, 2 BB, 7 hits and 4 earned runs. Westfield is now 4-1

Westfield 12, Belleville 0: Westfield beat Belleville today 12-0. Westfield is now 3-1. Elena Scarano pitched 5 innings, 6K, allowed 2 hits, 1 BB. Shannon Schaefer went 3 for 4 with 2 singles and a Homerun, 3 runs scored and 4 RBI. Audrey Peterson went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a homerun, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored

GL 9, Westfield 6: Summary-- Inning 4: Westfield's Chrissy Ferraro led off with a single, Cali Chambliss bunt singled, Julia Criscuolo singled in Chrissy, Sarah Seitz singled in Chambliss. (score 2-1 Westfield) Inning 5: GL's Goldbeck led off with a triple to left, Fetter singled her in, Beisser hit a two RBI double. (score 4-2 GL) Inning 5: Westfield's Aditi Jain led off with a double to right, Chrissy moved Aditi to 3B, then Cali Chambliss sac fly ( score 4-3 GL) Inning 7: GL Fetter walked, Frank advanced the runner, Murphy hit an RBI single, Beisser hit an RBI single, Cataldo singled, Kubleck hit a three-run HR (score 9-3 GL) Inning 7: With twoouts, Westfield's Ferraro singled, Chambliss singled and Schaefer hit a three-run HR.

Westfield 13, Linden 8: Audrey Peterson was 4-4 with two doubles and four RBI, Chrissy Ferraro was 3-5 with three runs scored. Winning pitcher--Elena Scarano- four innings pitched, 4K, five runs allowed, one BB and one HBP

Westfield 7, Elizabeth 6: Shannon Schaefer was 3 for 4 with a HR and two singles and three RBI. she also pitched the last three innings of the game allowing zero hits, walking three and allowing one run, zero earned runs. Summary---Inning 1 Westfield: Chrissy Ferraro walked with one out, Shannon Schaefer hit a home run, Julia criscuolo hit a single up the middle, Audrey Peterson hit a triple, Sarah Seitz hit a single. Scored four runs. (score 4-0) Inning 3 Elizabeth: with two outs K. Vega hit a single to left, N. Mendoza hit an infield single, S. Riotte hit a single to left and all three girls scored on an error on Riotte's single. (score 6-3)Inning 4 Elizabeth: with one out, C. Torres hit a triple to left, then with two outs E. Lainez hit an RBI double to right, and F. Reyes hit an RBI single to right. (score 6-5) Inning 5 Elizabeth: N. Mendoza scored on a sac fly by S. Riotte. (score 6-6) Inning 5 Westfield: S. Seitz led off with an infield single, Elena Scarano hit a two out RBI single to right center.

Boys Lacrosse

Westfield 15, West Morris 9: Ryan Bohord had four goals and two assists and Jackson O'Leary score three goals and added two assists. 

Westfield 13, Johnson 6: Jackson O'Leary paced the Blue Devils with six goals in the win. 

Girls Lacrosse

West Morris 13, Westfield 12: Emily Gretsky led all Westfield scorers with six goals in the loss.
