Westfield Public Schools to Open On Time

All Westfield public schools will open at their regularly scheduled times on Monday, according to announcement posted Monday morning on the district's website. Although Saturday's snowsnowstorm left many homes, businesses and government offices across the northeast without power, Westfield schools are receiving electricity. Parents and students are urged "to make safety a priority en route to school," and watch for downed power lines, tree limbs and other hazards.
