Westfield Board of Education Meets at 7:30 p.m. Tonight

The Westfield Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 302 Elm St.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be the last before residents have the opportunity to vote on a $13.6 million bond referendum that would fund district-wide roof repairs. 

A discussion of those repairs is on this evening's agenda and will be led by Facilities Chair Jane Clancy.

For additional information on the condition of roofs and the proposed repairs, Westfield schools superintendent Dr. Margaret Dolan and business administrator Dana Sullivan put together a presentation dated Nov. 13, 2012 that can be viewed here. Included is a summary of costs, estimated by school, as well as an estimated cost impacted to the average homeowner.
