Tomorrow night's Board of Education meeting has a resolution to keep an armed police officer in Westfield Public Schools on the agenda, according to thealternativepress.com.
This school year was the first to host a school resource officer (SRO) in Westfield in years - many residents opposed the idea last June, but the majority of the board ultimately decided to hiring an SRO, according to thealternativepress.com.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at 302 Elm Street, room 105.
