Edison Intermediate School seventh grader Albert Chen placed seventh in the state geography bee earlier this month. Board of Education Vice President Ann Cary made the announcement during Tuesday's BOE evening. During her presentation Cary also posed the winning question from the bee. Retiring BOE member Alice Hunnicutt was the only person to successfully answer the question.
