The Week Ahead: Silent Auction, Meetings and More

Monday:

The Board of Adjustment will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building.

Tuesday:

The  is offering a program for teens where high school-aged members meet each Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m at the agency.

The Board of Education will meet at 8 p.m. at 302 Elm St. The meeting will include recognition of WHS teachers/staff: Jan Fine, Ellen Muir, and Peter Horn.

Wednesday:

 of Westfield presents "Mommy & Me" digital cinema matinees every Wednesday. Mommy & Me matinee will be a choice of the same six first-run Hollywood productions playing that evening, but for a matinee price of $8.50 (children under two are free). A meeting of the special education committee will begin at 7 p.m. in the library of . Dr. Michael Weissman and Andrea Lo will discuss options available to students receiving special education services at middle schools. From 8 to 9:30 p.m., the committee will host a planning meeting for the upcoming school year. Ideas and suggestions are encouraged.

Thursday:

At 8 p.m.  offers Krav Maga Self Defense for women only. For a limited time, classes are free. Sign up is available through the website or by calling Jason at 732-684-0929.

Friday:

The  will host its bible study meeting from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

 presents THE “UNDERGROUND” (a.k.a- The Teen Center) on Friday nights. From 7 to 11 p.m., the event is held literally, underground, in the basement of the Municipal Building Recreation Center. Teens can play a game of pool at one of the three pool tables, keep their ping-pong skills in check, play some video games, watch a movie, or listen to their favorite music.
