Tamaques School Raises Participates in Kickboxing Fundraiser
Parents, teacher and Principal Michael Cullen of Tamaques Elementary raised money for the school on Nov. 16.
Parents, teachers and principal, Michael Cullen, of Tamaques Elementary in Westfield were a part of an exercising fundraiser at CKO Kickboxing in Fanwood.
The group exercised at a 60-minute boxing class on Nov. 16. Highlights included Tamaques PTO co-president, Lori Sternberg and Fifth grade teacher, Victor Alfonso, raising money through a "punch out challenge." The two threw 116 punches in 30 seconds.
