Student activity fees will stay the same as last year following a vote by the board of education at its meeting on March 25, according to Lorre Korecky, coordinator of school/community relations for the Westfield School District, according to nj.com.
Activity fees are implemented on a two-tier basis. For students participating in high school athletics, eighth-grade sports, or high school and intermediate dramas and musicals, the fee will remain unchanged at $125 for the 2014-15 school year, according to nj.com.
