Press Release: Adult School Announces Green Classes

The Westfield Adult School begins its spring 2010 semester on Monday, March 1st.  

Class lengths vary from one to eight weeks and start on different dates during the semester.  Most classes are held at Westfield High School, 550 Dorian Road, Westfield, on Monday evenings. 

One of the exciting new classes offered by the Adult School is "Greening Your Home and Wallet" course. Join this class and learn how conservation, efficiency, durability and the use of renewable energy can save you money while you live in a more sustainable life.

Other new classes being offered this semester include Hoop Dancing for Fitness, Chair Yoga, Handbag Design, Internet Security for Seniors, Cake Decorating for Beginners, and Chocolate – molding and truffles, dipping chocolates and chocolate mousse! 

You can view all of the Westfield Adult School's courses and register on their website at www.WestfieldAdultSchool.com, or you can call 908-232-4050 for additional information.  On-line registration offers convenient payment by credit card.  You can also register by mail or in person on Monday evenings beginning September 21st in the main office at Westfield High School and continuing each Monday evening throughout the semester, with payment by check or cash.  If Monday nights are not convenient, some classes are offered on other evenings and during some daytimes hours as well at other locations (please check the website or your catalogue.)

Registered students may stop by one the tables or the main office in the high school to pick up a complimentary Westfield Adult School environment friendly tote bag before your first class!
