Historian to Speak at Library

The Anne M. Hale Speaker Series will continue this fall with a talk by Arthur S. Lefkowitz  on “Eyewitness Images from the American Revolution.”

The speech, slated for Thursday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. at Westfield Memorial Library, 550 East Broad St.,  is the third talk in the fifth annual Hale series that will conclude on Oct. 11 with a presentation by Westfield Symphony conductor David Wroe.

In two previous talks for the Hale Series, Lefkowitz proved to be a popular lecturer as he discussed the Revolution and showed slides from   that period.  He is the author of a number of Revolution-related  books that have received awards and favorable reviews.
