Helping Your Child Find Calm in the Mood Storm

The Westfield Parent Teacher Council-Special Education Committee welcomes Dr. Rosalie Greenberg, a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in private practice in Summit, New Jersey. Dr. Greenberg is a consultant in psychiatry at Overlook Hospital an Assistant professor at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and has been consistently recognized as one of the top child psychiatrists in the metropolitan area. This program will help parents and educators better understand the mood pendulum, emotional outbursts and overall behaviors of their children and students. A parent support group will meet prior to the presentation at 7:00P.M. Professional development hours will be offered for educators and administrators. The program is free and open to the public and no registration is required. The committee meets once a month during the school year and acts as a resource and support group for  parents and teachers of regular and special education students.
