Edison Intermediate to Host Annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony
The ceremony will kick off at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Edison Intermediate School gymnasium will be the location for the school’s annual Veteran’s Day ceremony on Wednesday morning.
Several guest speakers will be present at the event including, the Honorable Mark Ciarrocca, a New Jersey Supreme Court Judge and John D'Andrea, a former EIS physical education teacher, who is a Korean War Veteran. Additionally, the EIS 8th Grade Chorus, EIS Symphonic Band, Marine Color Guard and student speakers will also present at the ceremony.
D’Andrea will be honored in a special presentation at the end of the ceremony for his 47 years of dedication to the Westfield School district.
The program is as follows:

8.Song Selection “Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier” – EIS 8th Grade Chorus
9.Guest Speaker – The Honorable Mark P. Ciarrocca, NJ Supreme Court Judge
10.Musical Selection “Patriotic Salute” – EIS Concert Band
11.Guest Speaker – Mr.John D’Andrea, former teacher
12.Song Selection “Thank You Soldiers” – EIS 8th Grade Chorus
