Community Invited to Odyssey of the Mind Showcase

Thirteen Westfield students on two teams will be representing NJ at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals later this month in Michigan.

They would like to invite everyone to come to see their performances at an Odyssey of the Mind Showcase at the Edison Intermediate School Auditorium on Thursday, May 16 at 7:00 pm.

You'll get to see not only them but all four teams of students that participated in the program this year, hear a little bit about Odyssey and see if it's something that you'd like to be involved in next year. 

Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem solving competition that helps the students involved learn to set goals and achieve them, work together with their peers to solve complex problems and step out of their comfort zones to try new things they never thought they could do. It builds self esteem along with new friendships.

There is no admission fee, but donations will be graciously accepted to offset costs for the trip to World Finals. Bake sale and fabulous door prizes too! Hope to see you there.
