11 Westfield High School Students Selected For All State Chorus

An impressive number of Westfield High School students were accepted into the 2014-15 New Jersey All State Mixed and Women’s Choirs. A total of 11 were selected from almost 2,000 high school singers across New Jersey.

In November 2014 and February of 2015, the following Westfield High School students will have the thrill of performing at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center alongside other select high school students from around the state: 

First row: Laura Surace (Grade 9, 2015 Women’s Chorus), Noah Bram (Grade 9, 2014 Mixed), Jessica Zimmerman (Grade 10, 2015 Women’s), Lauren Echausse (Grade 11, Women’s), Lucy Hale (Grade 9, Women’s). 

Second row: Erin Hanlon (Grade 10, Women’s), Emily Holtzman (Grade 9, Women’s), Katherine Ko (Grade 11, Mixed), Hasitha Kakileti (Grade 11, Women’s); and third row: Alex Cestero (Grade 9, Mixed), and Julian Mone (Grade 11, Mixed.

“I am so proud of these talented singers,” stated John Brzozowski, Westfield High School’s vocal music teacher. “This is quite a distinction, and it will be a wonderful experience for them to showcase their talents on a statewide level.”
