Volunteer and Shelter Opportunity at Presbyterian Church in Westfield

It is our intent to open Assembly Hall and offer our friends and neighbors a place of warmth -- both physical and emotional.

Update 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9: No additional donations are needed. Please let others in need know that the church is open and serving hot soup and beverages.

Original: The Presbyterian Church in Westfield is looking for volunteers at an ad hoc emergency warming & food shelter for the next two days.

• Volunteers needed to be present at PCW's Assembly Hall to make and serve soup and coffee in shifts from 12 pm - 8 pm on Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9.
• Donations of bread and baked goods are requested to be dropped off in the PCW kitchen Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.

If you can volunteer your time, please contact the church office at 908 233-0301 or via email at info@westfieldpc.org. The church is located at 140 Mountain Avenue, Westfield.

There are still at least 3,000 residences in the town of Westfield alone without power.
