The Presbyterian Church in Westfield: February is Youth ReBuilding Hope Month

Romans 12:12-13: Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

The Youth Commission of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield (PCW) wishes to invite everyone to Assembly Hall on Sunday, February 24, immediately after the 10:00 am service, to help celebrate the Youth Rebuilding Hope 2013 fundraiser. We will be serving a light lunch in conjunction with Fellowship Commission's Soup and Bread lunch.

February is the month PCW raises awareness and funding for its Youth Mission projects; many of which include non-church member participants from Westfield and surrounding town. The money raised will go to support Youth mission work, such as:

  • The Agape Community Kitchen, serving 300 warm meals to the people of Elizabeth every Wednesday afternoon for the past 12 years;
  • the High School Mission Trip;
  • the Middle School Mission Trip; and
  • local mission efforts, such as day trips helping areas affected by Sandy

We thank the congregation and the community at-large for its past support. If you or your child has ever participated in any of these outreach projects, then you have seen the generosity of our church’s Youth Rebuilding Hope campaigns.
