Westfield High School Parking Meeting Tonight

Th next public outreach meeting regarding high school parking will take place tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Westfield High School Cafeteria B.

A public outreach meeting to discuss traffic and parking conditions around and will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight at WHS's cafeteria B. 

The meeting is the third in a series aimed at enhancing traffic safety and reducing parking issues in the Westfield High School neighborhood.

The Westfield Town Council and the Board of Education held meetings in and of 2011 during which residents voiced their concerns and grievances over current conditions.

In an email, Fourth Ward Councilman Keith Loughlin, vice chair of the public safety and parking committee, said, "During the meeting, our traffic engineer (Gordon Meth) will discuss proposed solutions to improving the safety and quality of life of our neighborhood. We anticipate this will be the final public meeting and it is extremely important that you attend to voice your opinions."

The meeting is open to all.
