I don't get it, why should residents have to pay $70 to BRING THEIR OWN bio-degradable waste to a "conservation center?!?!"
Pete January 04, 2013 at 01:35 AM
Because the town knows they will.
Green Thumb January 04, 2013 at 02:40 AM
I just hope that the DPW worker that takes cash under the table to let contractors dump whatever they want is still working so I can keep dumping whatever I want.

Landscapers doing buisness in this town should be required to take lawn and tree clippings as well as leaves to the conservation center and not push them out to the street. They make a mess, leave unsafe piles out in the street, make it impossibe for people ot park on the street. These landscapers and the rich Westfield homeowners who use these landscapers don't care Iincluding the ones who just dump their leaves, trees and grass outside the center or in the park woods across the street.
